Rebar -- July 18, 2007

They put rebar and joists down before they pour the foundation so that the house will move as one unit due to the heat and cracking of the soil down here. They did ours on July 18, 2007. We're getting closer to our first big milestone!

They backfilled the plumbing trenches in preparation for pouring our foundation on July 17, 2007.

Plumbing Top Out -- July 8, 2007

This was when they put in the plumbing PVC on July 8, 2007.

Framed Foundation -- July 4, 2007

On July 4, they began to put up the wooden frame around where our foundation would be poured.

They started on our house...

They have the foundation framed out and this morning when I drove by they had all the plumbing PVC out in front. Jeff just called to let us know that he got a framing date for our home as being on the 30th. In the meantime, they'll be getting the plumbing installed and pouring the foundation. This is so exciting! We snapped a couple of pics last night...so I'll share those later. They're on Andy's laptop which he has at work. :-)

Let the construction begin...

We got word that they are still waiting for our permits to come back, however they plan on starting construction in the 2nd or 3rd week of July. So just a short time away and it will all be starting. They have started to level off the foundation and the flags for the plumbing are up. I guess I need to go take a picture of that. :-)
